Released in early April 2002, Fleer Marquee breaks down into a 126-card set with 100 veteran player cards and 26 rookie cards. Card number 126, Mengke Bateer was a last minute addition to the set, so on press material, boxes and packs, Marquee is referred to as a 125-card set. The rookie breakdown is as follows: Card numbers 101-115 are sequentailly numbered to 1500, card number 116-125 are sequentailly numbered to 2500, and number 126 is sequentially numbered to 1500. Also included in packs was a limited Vince Carter NNO autographed card sequentially numbered to 113. Base cards feature an embossed gray-scale basketball texture along the bottom of the card with a silver foil Marquee logo in the left hand corner, and the player's name in the right. Full color action photos are centered with a solid white border and a fade to white edges on the left and right. Rookie cards are white on both the top and the bottom fading into the same embossed silver basketball texturing found on the veteran cards. Player action photos are set against an oval with runs directly through the center of the card. Each Hobby box contained a jumbo box-topper pack of one Feature Presentation card.
