This 100-card set is a partial remake of the 1990-91 Hoops set, and it was primarily sold through the Sears catalog. The standard-size cards use the same pictures. The backs have a color headshot, with biographical and statistical information (only up through the 1989-90 season) in a basketball lane format. However, these cards differ from the regular Hoops issue in the gold coloring on the card fronts and a new numbering system. The players are arranged alphabetically within teams, and the teams are arranged alphabetically as follows: Atlanta Hawks (1-4), Boston Celtics (5-9), Charlotte Hornets (10-11), Chicago Bulls (12-16), Cleveland Cavaliers (17-19), Dallas Mavericks (20-24), Denver Nuggets (25-26), Detroit Pistons (27-31), Golden State Warriors (32-34), Houston Rockets (35-38), Indiana Pacers (39-41), Los Angeles Clippers (42-45), Los Angeles Lakers (46-51), Miami Heat (52-54), Milwaukee Bucks (55-57), Minnesota Timberwolves (58-60), New Jersey Nets (61-63), New York Knicks (64-67), Orlando Magic (68-70), Philadelphia 76ers (71-74), Phoenix Suns (75-79), Portland Trail Blazers (80-83), Sacramento Kings (84-85), San Antonio Spurs (86-90), Seattle Supersonics (91-93), Utah Jazz (94-97), and Washington Bullets (98-100).
