The 1998 Maxximum set was issued in one series totalling 100 cards. The cards feature the new card technology, Ionix, with full-bleed color photography. The set contains the topical subsets: Iron Men (1-25), Steel Chariots (26-50), Armor Clad (51-75), and Heat of Battle (76-100).
