This standard-size set contains 700 cards issued in two differently designed series of 400 and 300. Cards for either series were issued in 15-card packs. First series fronts feature full-bleed color player photos with the player's name in a stripe at the bottom. The NFL Pro Set logo in the lower right corner. In a horizontal format, the backs have a close-up color player photo, biography, career highlights and complete statistical information. Second series cards are full-bleed on the right side with the players name running up the left border. A team logo is at the bottom left. Vertical backs have stats from the last three years, highlights and a small photo. Gray backgrounds contain all NFL team logos in white. The set opens with the following subsets: League Leaders (1-18), Milestones (19-27), Draft Day (28-33), Innovators (34-36), 1991 Replays (37-63), and Super Bowl XXVI Replays (64-72). Other than Washington and Buffalo leading off the first series, player cards are in team order by series. A number of subsets include Pro Set Newsreel (343-346), Magic Numbers (347-351), Play Smart (352-360), NFC Spirit of the Game (361-374), AFC Pro Bowl Stars (375-400), NFC Pro Bowl (401-427), Spirit of the Game (680-693) cards and some miscellaneous special cards (694-700). The key Rookie Cards in the set are Edgar Bennett, Steve Bono, Quentin Coryatt, Amp Lee and Carl Pickens. Randomly inserted in packs and listed at the end of the checklist below were Emmitt Smith and Erik Kramer autograph cards. Each player signed 1,000 cards that are individually numbered.
