Set Description: Issued in two series of 225 cards, this 450 card set features some of the first and last cards of retired superstars and other retired star players. The cards were issued in eight card packs with an SRP of $4. These packs were issued 20 packs to a box and eight boxes to a case. A very annoying feature of this set was the checklist numbers were so small that it was very difficult to tell what the number of the card was if a collector was trying to build a set.
