The 1992 All World NFL football set contains 300 standard-size cards. The production run was reported to be 8000 foil cases, but many collectors feel the actual print run number fell slightly short of 8000. There are 12 cards per foil pack and 26 per rack pack. Ten rookies and ten "Legends in the Making" cards, embossed with gold-foil stars, were randomly inserted in the foil packs. Likewise, autographed cards by Joe Namath (1,000), Jim Brown (1,000), and Desmond Howard (2,500) were inserted in both foil and rack packs. Although the player's name is not printed on the front, his autograph and number do appear. A special double-fold card (TR1) of the three autographed cards was inserted only in the rack packs. It is distinguished from the regular issue triple cards by foil-stamping. The regular card backs have a second color player photo, with player information (biography and player profile) in a horizontally oriented box alongside the picture. Topical subsets featured include Legends in the Making (1-10) and Greats of the Game (266-300). Rookie Cards include Edgar Bennett, Steve Bono, Terrell Buckley, Dale Carter, Marco Coleman, Quentin Coryatt, Vaughn Dunbar, Steve Emtman, Desmond Howard (AW had exclusive rights), Carl Pickens, and Tommy Vardell. A Desmond Howard promo card was released and is priced at the end of our checklist.
