Set Description: This first of five O-Pee-Chee 1930's hockey card issues featured a black and white photo of the player portrayed on a colored field of stars. The cards in the set were approximately 2 5/16" by 3 9/16". The player's name appeared in a rectangle at the bottom of the front of the card. Four possible color background fields existed, red, blue, orange and green. The cards were numbered on the back, and a short biography in both English and French is also contained on the back. The catalog designation for this set is V304A. The existence of an album designed to store the cards has been confirmed. It is valued at approximately $250.
