Set Description: This product was released in mid-December 2001, and featured a 300-card base set that was broken into tiers as follows: 100 Base Veterans, 100 Rookies/Prospects serial numbered to 1875, and an additional 100 Rookies/Prospects serial numbered to 625. Each pack contained three cards, and carried a suggested retail price of $3.99. Due to an error in printing, two different players were checklisted as card 252 (John Buck and Adam Johnson) - thus, a total of 301 cards exist for the set, though it's numbering runs from 1-300. Both Buck and Johnson's cards are serial numbered "of 625" on back.
