Set Description: Released in March 2002, this 145-card base set features standard-size cards with full color action shots on the fronts. The set includes 100 veteran cards, 30 rookie red-level cards, numbers 101-130 which are sequentially numbered to 1999, and 15 rookie blue-level cards, numbers 131-145 which are sequentially numbered to 999. Playmakers was packaged in 24-pack boxes with five cards per pack and carried a suggested retai of $2.99. Each Playmaker's box also contained an Upper Deck Bobble Head Doll.
