Set Description: This 36-card set is the first of two series produced by Donruss for Cracker Jack, and the micro cards were protected by a paper sleeve and inserted into specially marked boxes of Cracker Jack. A side panel listed all 36 players in series I. The micro cards measure approximately 1 1/4" by 1 3/4". The front design is the same as the Donruss regular issue cards, only different color player photos are displayed. The backs, however, have a completely different design than the regular issue Donruss cards; they are horizontally oriented and present biography, major league pitching (or batting) record, and brief career summary inside navy blue borders. The cards are numbered on the back. On the paper sleeve was a mail-in offer for a mini card album with six top loading plastic pages for 4.95 per album.
