Set Description: The 2001 Upper Deck Sweet Spot product was initially released in February, 2001 and offered a 90-card base set. An additional 60-card Update set was distributed within Upper Deck Rookie Update packs in late December, 2001. The basic 90-card set is broken into tiers as follows: 60 basic veterans (1-60), and 30 Sweet Beginning subset cards (each individually serial numbered to 1000). The Update set was composed of 30 basic veterans (91-120) and 30 Sweet Beginnings subset cards (121-150) each serial numbered to 1500. Basic packs contained four cards and carried a suggested retail price of $2.99. Rookie Update packs contained four cards and carried a suggested retail price of $4.99.
