Set Description: This 90-card set was a joint venture with Topps and was skip-numbered. All cards in this set had even numbers, while the Topps Picks set had the odds. The cards were issued in seven-card packs with a suggested retail price of $.99. The two card companies held a fantasy-style draft with each picking 56 forwards, 28 defensemen and six goaltenders to be included in their half of the set. The fronts featured color action player photos in a bordered design with the backs displaying projected stats for the 1996-97 season.
