Set Description: This 225-card super premium set was issued in 10-card packs with a suggested retail price of $3.99. The cards featured a full-bleed design with dual action photos on the front and gold foil printing. The card stock was thicker than any basic issue. Yearly stats appeared on back in silver, printed over one more photo. The cards were arranged alphabetically within teams. Rookie cards in this set included Mariusz Czerkawski, David Oliver, Eric Fichaud and Jason Wiemer. To prevent tampering or searching, Fleer employed an innovative packaging design: the packs are actually a cello-wrapped, two-piece silver foil box, with the cards inside wrapped again in a sealed cello pouch.
