Set Description: This 30-card standard-size set features the 1989 Birmingham Barons, a farm club for the Chicago White Sox. The fronts have posed color player photos with white borders. The year "1989" and the city are written vertically on the left side of the card, and the player's name and position are given below the picture. In a horizontal format, the backs have biography, recent professional baseball performance summary (including statistics), and a color headshot, all in a yellow rectangular box. The Platinum version sets were limited to a production run of 1,500.
