Set Description:
The 1975 Carvel NBA Basketball Discs set contains 36 unnumbered discs measuring approximately 3 3/8" in diameter. The blank-backed discs have various (five different colors) color borders, and feature black and white drawings of the players with fascimile signatures. There are also white (colorless) border variations, which can be found with or without Carvel at the top, which are very difficult to find. A poster was produced which provided circular places for each of the 36 discs to be taped or glued onto. Since the discs are unnumbered, they are checklisted below in alphabetical order. The set is dated by the fact that 1974-75 was Happy Hairston and Chet Walker's last active year in the NBA.
