Set Description: Released in May 2003, Rookie Update consisted of a 176-card base set, a jersey card insert set, an autograph insert set and update cards for SP Authentic, SPx, UD Foundations and UD Classic Portraits. In the base set, cards 101-116 were serial-numbered to 999, cards 117-148 and 173-176 were serial-numbered to 1500, and cards 163-171 were serial-numbered to 199. Cards 163-171 carried dual autographs. Cards 149-162 had three different versions, A, B and C. Each version was serial-numbered with the 'A' cards being serial-numbered from 1 to 400; the 'B' cards being serial-numbered 401-800 and the 'C' versions serial-numbered 801-1200 for a total of 1200 cards. Cards 149-162 carried jersey swatches of each player pictured.
