Set Description: This 275-card standard-size set was issued in one series and does not have a comprehensive player selection. Due to the NHL lock-out, series two was replaced on the production schedule by Select; therefore many stars such as Patrick Roy and Wayne Gretzky were not featured in this set. The unique design features a full color player photo, surrounded by a white border. The Score logo appears in the top right corner, while a player head shot and team logo dominate the lower left. The upper right corner displays five globes; player name appears in a multi-hued strip along the card bottom. Cards were issued in 14-card U.S. and Canadian packs that included one Gold Line parallel card. Retail jumbo packs contained 30 cards and two Gold Line cards for $1.79. Subsets include World Junior Championships (201-215), Season Highlights (241-247), Young Stars (248-262), and Team Checklists (263-275). The only Rookie Card of note in the set is Mariusz Czerkawski.
