Set Description: The 1981 Fleer Teams in Action football set deviates from previous years in that, while each team is depicted on two cards and each Super Bowl is depicted on one card, an additional group of cards (72-88) have been added to make the set number 88 standard-size cards, no doubt to accomodate the press sheet size. The card numbering follows team name alphabetical order followed by Super Bowl cards in chronological order and the last group of miscellaneous cards. The card fronts are in full color with white borders, and the card backs are printed in blue and red on white stock. The backs feature a 1981 copyright. Cards were issued in eight-card wax packs along with three team logo stickers.
