Set Description:
This 90-card base set featured six additional variations and two short-printed cards, none of which were included in the base set price. The variations were inserted in both Hobby and Retail packs at a rate of one in 60. The variations are card #3 Denny Hamlin with a blurred background, #5 Dale Earnhardt Jr. with red in the background in place of blue, #6 Jeff Gordon with the #24 missing from the pit wagon in the background, #71 kevin Harvick CM with the warning signs behind him reversed, the running sign is above the guy getting hit with the projectile and falling sign, #73 Jimmie Johnson with the ink colors reversed on the magazine cover, "Take That" is in yellow, #88 Juan Pablo Montoya with the green infield pictured in the background. The zero card short print is Jimmie Johnson '06 Champion, which was inserted in packs at a rate of one in 60 in both Hobby and Retail. The other short print is the NNO Daytona Entry Card which was inserted at a rate of one in 20 in both Hobby and Retail packs. It was a entry for a chance to win a signed flag and helmet acquired during Daytona's Speedweeks. The promotion ended October 31, 2007 and the winner was notified by November 15, 2007.
