This 330-card set was released in November, 2005. The set was issued in 10-card packs with a $1.50 SRP which came 36 packs to a box and eight boxes to a case. It is also important to note that a factory set consisting of just the base set (no inserts) was also included in the sealed hobby cases. The basic set consists of cards 1-84 featuring either players who were traded/signed as free agents after the original 2005 Topps set was released. Cards numbered 85-89 feature managers with new teams. Cards numbered 90-110 feature prospects, who previously had cards, who made an impact in baseball in 2005. Cards numbered 111 through 115 feature players who set records in 2005. Cards numbered 116 through 134 feature post-season highlights. Cards numbered 135 through 146 feature 2005 league leaders. Cards numbered 147 through 194 feature a mix of award winners and 2005 All-Stars. Cards numbered 195 through 202 feature players who were in the 2005 All-Star Home Run Derby. Cards numbered 203 through 220 feature players with tremendous futures. Cards numbered 221 through 310 feature Rookie Cards of players who had not been on Topps cards previously. Cards 311 through 330 feature some of the leading players selected in the 2005 amateur draft.
