Set Description: The 1998 SkyBox E-X2001 hobby only set was issued in one series totalling 60 cards and was distributed in two-card packs with a suggested retail price of $3.99. The set features color action player images printed with holographic and gold-foil stamping and player-specific die-cuts mounted on durable, see-thru plastic stock. Two parallel versions of this set were also produced: Essential Credentials Now with a holofoil gold background and each card sequentially numbered according to the player's card number in the basic set; Essential Credentials Future with a holofoil rose colored background and each card sequentially numbered to the opposite of the player's card number in the basic set.
