Set Description: This 670-card Gold Signature set is a parallel to the basic Collector's Choice issue. These cards were randomly inserted into first and second series hobby and retail packs at a rate of one in 36 and jumbo packs at a rate of one in 20. Gold cards were also issued five per factory set. These cards are identical to the basic issue except for gold foil fronts and a facsimile gold foil player's signature. Some subset cards feature borderless designs (unlike the basic player cards), thus their corresponding borderless Gold Foil Signature cards differ only by the gold foil replica autograph. The Jeffrey Hammonds card has the signature of Orioles General Manager Roland Hemond.
