Set Description: Randomly inserted into all forms of high series packs, this ten-card standard-size set chronicles the career of Larry Bird from his college days at Indiana State University to pro stardom with the Boston Celtics. The color action player photos on the fronts are bordered on the left and bottom by black borders that carry the card subtitle and "Basketball Heroes, Larry Bird" respectively. On a background shading from white to green, brief summaries of Bird's career are presented on a center panel. The cards are numbered on the back in continuation of the Upper Deck Basketball Heroes.
