Set Description: This 217 card set was issued in two separate series. The primary Game Face product was released in May, 2003. The "low series" set containing cards 1-192 was issued in four card packs with a $4 SRP which were packed 24 packs to a box and six boxes to a case. The first 120 cards featured veterans. But even within that group, there were cards that were shortprinted. The short-print cards from number 1-120 were issued at a stated rate of one in four packs. Cards numbered 121 through 150 feature leading prospects and rookies and were issued at a stated rate of one in eight. Cards numbered 151 through 171 feature cards with a game face subset and those cards were issued at a stated rate of one in 16. Cards numbered 172 through 192 were issued at a stated rate of one in eight and featured two players in a "faceoff" on each card. Cards 193-217 featured additional prospects, were serial numbered to 299 copies per and randomly seeded into Bonus Packs of 2003 Upper Deck Finite baseball of which was distributed in December, 2003. A Ken Griffey Jr sample card was issued to dealers and media before this product was released and we have added that card at the end of our checklist.
