Set Description: SP Authentic initially released in late-December 2004 and was one of the most popular releases of the year. The base set consists of 216-cards including 60-rookies serial numbered to 1199, 35-rookie autographs serial numbered to 990 and 31-rookie jersey autographs numbered between 299 and 799. Hobby boxes contained 24-packs of 5-cards and carried an S.R.P. of $4.99 per pack. Two parallel sets and a variety of inserts can be found seeded in packs highlighted by the Scripts for Success and Sign of the Times autograph inserts.
