Set Description: Playoff Prestige released in May of 2004 and was the first full NFL product of the year. The base set consists of 227 cards including 150 veterans and 77 rookies. Within the rookie subset, ten cards were short-printed and seeded at a ratio of 1:6 boxes. Note that Mike Williams and Maurice Clarett both made an apearance in this product although they were declared ineligible for the NFL Draft. Hobby boxes contained 24-packs of 6-cards along with an extensive selection of insert and game-used sets highlighted by the Draft Picks Rights Autograph set and the very first LaVar Arrington game-used memorabilia card.
