Set Description: Fleer Platinum initially released in early September 2004. The base set consists of 185-cards including 50-rookies featuring prints runs between 299 and 999. Hobby boxes contained sixteen 7-card packs and four 20-card jumbo packs and carried an S.R.P. of $6 per pack. One parallel set and a variety of inserts can be found seeded in hobby and retail packs highlighted by the Pro Material Jersey Autograph inserts. Some signed cards were issued via mail-in exchange or redemption cards with a number of those EXCH cards not yet appearing live on the secondary market as of the printing of this book.
