Set Description: The 1998 Ultra set was issued in two series totalling 425 cards and was distributed in 10-card packs with a suggested retail price of $2.69. The fronts feature borderless color player photos. The backs carry player information and career statistics. Series 1 contains a limited 25-card subset of rookies (#201-225) with an insertion rate of 1:3. Series 2 contains three subsets: Checklists (358-360), '98 Greats (361-385), and Rookies (386-425) with an insertion rate of 1:3. The basic hobby set includes a special card honoring the achievements of Reggie White. Also, 25-cards were randomly inserted in hobby packs which were redeemable for an autographed Reggie White mini-helmet.
