Set Description: This 330-card first series was released in February, 2008. The set was issued in myriad forms both in and outside the hobby. The packs were issued into the hobby in 10-card packs, with an $1.59 SRP, which came 36 packs to a box and 12 boxes to a case. The HTA packs had 46-cards (44 cards if a relic card was inserted), with an $10 SRP, which came 10 packs to a box and six boxes to a case. Card number 234, which featured the Boston Red Sox celebrating their 2007 World Series victory was issued in a regular version and in a photoshopped version in which Presidential Candidate (and noted Yankee fan) Rudy Giuliani was placed into the celebration. The Guiliani card was issued at an officially announced stated rate of one in two of the earliest boxes.
