Set Description: After debuting as an insert set in the 1992 Pacific NFL series, Pacific decided to release a 108-card (plus one checklist) set of Prism cards. The standard-size cards comprising this set were issued in one-card packs and feature on their fronts color player action cut-outs over borderless triangular prismatic foil backgrounds. Seventeen thousand of each card were produced. The cards are checklisted alphabetically according to teams. Rookie Cards include Jerome Bettis, Drew Bledsoe, Reggie Brooks, Garrison Hearst, Rick Mirer and Robert Smith. Two promo cards (Emmitt Smith and Drew Bledsoe) were produced and are listed below. They were released primarily at the Chicago National Card Collectors Convention and each looks very similar to its regular issue card. The promos however differ slightly on the backs in relation to the small player and helmet photos. The player photo is touching the helmet and the helmet photo is smaller on the promo cards. Reportedly 5,500 of each promo was produced.
