This 25-card standard-size insert set showcases the first round picks from the 1992 NBA Draft. The cards were randomly inserted into 12-card (both series) foil packs. According to SkyBox, approximately one out of every eight packs contained a Draft Pick card. The card numbering (1-27) reflects the actual order in which each player was selected. Six players (2, 10-11, 15-16, 18) available by the first series cut-off date were issued in first series foil packs, while the rest of the first round picks who signed NBA contracts were issued in second series packs. DP4 and DP17, intended for Jim Jackson and Doug Christie respectively, were not issued with this set because neither player signed a professional contract in time to be included in the second series. They were issued in 1993-94 first series packs. The fronts display an opaque metallic gold rectangle set off from the player. On a gradated gold background, the backs present player profiles. A white rectangle that runs vertically the length of the card contains statistics. The team logo is superimposed on this rectangle. The cards are numbered on the back with a "DP" prefix.
