Set Description: Released in March 2008, SP Rookie Edition boasts a 210-card set where cards 1-60 feature veteran players on a horizontal design with black borders and gold foil highlights, cards 61-104 feature rookie players on a similar design, cards 105-120 feature rookie players on a cards which employ the design of the 1996-97 SP set, cards 121-150 feature rookie players on cards which employ the design of the 1997-98 SP Authentic set, cards 151-180 feature rookie players on cards which employ the design of the 1994-95 SP rookie foil set, and cards 181-210 feature a mix of retired legends, veteran players and rookies on cards which frame a color portrait style photo against a white background. SP Rookie Edition is packaged in 14-pack boxes of eight cards each and carried an intial SRP of $4.99 per pack.
