Released in mid-December 2001, Topps High Topps features a 164-card set divided up as follows: card numbers 1-81 are base veteran cards, card numbers 82-86 are 1st Team All-NBA players, card numbers 87-91 are 2nd Team All-NBA players, card numbers 92-101 are Stat Leaders showcasing top stats grabbers, card numbers 102-105 are Road to the Championship showcasing LA Lakers players, card numbers 106-113 are Super Veteran Autographed cards sequentially numberd to 850, card numbers 114-129 are Super Veteran Relics sequentially numbered to 425, card numbers 130-140 are Rookie Signatures sequentially numbered to 850, card numbers 141-153 are Rookie Relics sequentially numbered to 425, and card numbers 154-164 are rookies sequentially numbered to 1500. All cards feature a jumbo tall-boy design measuring 2 1/2" by 4 11/16" with full color player action photos, white borders and gold foil highlights. High Topps was packaged in six box cases with 24-pack boxes where packs contained eight cards and carried a suggested retail price of $7.00.
