Measuring 8 1/2" by 11", these 179 charcoal drawings are facial portraits by noted sports artist Charles Linnett. The player's facsimile autograph is inscribed across the lower right corner. The backs are blank. Three portraits of players from the same team or major stars issued in those groups of three were included in each clear plastic packet. A checklist was also included in each packet, with an offer to order individual player portraits for 50 cents each. Originally, the suggested retail price was 99 cents. In later issues, the price was raised to $1.19. The portraits are unnumbered and listed alphabetically by teams as follows: Atlanta Braves (1-6), Baltimore Orioles (7-13), Boston Red Sox (14-32), California Angels (33-38), Chicago Cubs (39-46), Chicago White Sox (47-53), Cincinnati Reds (54-59), Cleveland Indians (60-67), Detroit Tigers (68-79), Houston Astros (80-86), Kansas City Royals (87-91), Los Angeles Dodgers (92-97), Milwaukee Brewers (98-103), Minnesota Twins (104-109), New York Mets (110-125), New York Yankees (126-136), Oakland A's (137-141), Philadelphia Phillies (142-147), Pittsburgh Pirates (148-153), San Diego Padres (154-156), San Francisco Giants (157-164), St. Louis Cardinals (165-171), and Texas Rangers (172-179).
