The 1999 Bowman set was released in mid October of 1999 as a 220-card single series set featuring 150 veteran players along with 70 rookie cards. The veteran cards are done in a silver and red design action shot and the rookies are done in a silver and blue logo design. Key rookies found within this set include Ricky Williams, Edgerrin James, and Tim Couch. A 220-card Bowman Interstate Parallel was also produced at a rate of 1 per pack which shows which state each player originated from. Also exists is a 220 card Bowman Gold Parallel which is identical to the regular base set card exept for the Team name being done in a gold foil. Authentic Signed Rookie autographed cards are also randomly inserted in packs. Also included is the 10 card Late Bloomers/Early Risers insert set featuring top second year players as well as veteran stars such as Dan Marino and Mark Brunell.
