Set Description: The 1989 Pro Set Announcers set contains 30 standard-size cards. The fronts have color photos bordered in red with TV network logos; otherwise, they are similar in appearance to the regular 1989 Pro Set cards. One announcer card was included in each Series II pack. Although Dan Jiggetts was listed as card number 21 on early checklists, he was replaced by Verne Lundquist when the cards were actually released. Those announcers who had previously played in the NFL were depicted with a photo from their active playing career.
