Set Description: The 1996-97 Skybox set was issued with a total of 281 cards. The set was issued in two series with series one totaling 131 cards and series two totaling 150. The 12-card packs retail for $2.99 each. The cards are grouped alphabetically within teams. Rookie cards that were available in the first series included Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Kobe Bryant, Marcus Camby, Allen Iverson, Stephon Marbury and Antoine Walker. A Jerry Stackhouse promo was released before the set that is identical to the regular issue card except it does not have a card number on the back. It is listed below at the end of the set.
