Set Description: This 300-card standard-size set features some of the NFL's most popular players in non-game shots. The players and coaches are posed wearing their team's colors. The fronts are full-color borderless shots of the players, while the backs feature a quote from the player and a portrait pose of the player. The cards were available in wax packs. Essentially the whole set was available individually autographed; these certified autographed cards were randomly seeded into packs and feature no card numbers. An Emmitt Smith card was printed for inclusion in the Autographs set, but was never released in packs. A very small number of signed copies of the card were released at the 1992 Super Bowl Card Show with the majority of the Smith cards remaining unsigned. However, all of the Emmitt cards produced carried the certified stamp or crimp on the lower right hand corner of the card. The Santa Claus card could be obtained through a mail-in offer in exchange for ten 1991 ProLine Portraits foil pack wrappers. Complete sets featuring "National 1991" embossed logos were produced and distributed to guests of an event at The National Sports Collector's Convention in Anaheim. Reportedly, 250-complete sets were produced with the special logo.
