Set Description: Released as a 109-card set, Upper Deck Retro features players from both today and yesterday on a "throwback" style base card enhanced with bronze foil stamping. Each Retro box was packaged in an actual Wayne Gretzky lunchbox, contained 24-packs per box with six cards per pack and carried a suggested retail price of $4.99. Card number 82 was supposed to be Gordie Howe, but a licensing agreement was never reached. A few of the Howe cards are known to exist with a crimp of Jeff Gordon over Howe's head.
