Set Description: The 2001 Fleer Tradition product was released in early February, 2001 and initially featured a 450-card base set that was broken into tiers as follows: Base Veterans (1-350), Prospects (351-380), League Leaders (381-410), World Series Highlights (411-420), and Team Checklists (421-450). Each pack contained 10 cards and carried a suggested retail price of $1.99 per pack. In late October, 2001, a 485-card factory set carrying a $42.99 SRP was released. Each factory set contained the basic 450-card set plus 35 new cards (451-485) featuring a selection of rookies and prospects. Please note that there was also 100 exchange cards inserted into packs in which lucky collectors received an uncut sheet of 2001 Fleer.
