Set Description: The 2000 Black Diamond Rookie Edition product, produced by Upper Deck, was released in December, 2000 and featured a 154-card base set. The set is broken into tiers as follows: Base Veterans (1-90), Rookie Gems (91-120) that are serial numbered to 1000, Rookie Jerseys (121-136), and USA Jersey cards (137-154). Each pack contained six cards, and carried a suggested retail price of $2.99. Notable Rookie Cards include Mark Buehrle, Roy Oswalt, Kazuhiro Sasaki, Ben Sheets and Barry Zito.
