Set Description: Released in mid September 2006, Topps features a classic design placing full-color player photos on a white-bordered design with silver foil highlights. Veteran players are pictured on cards 1-215 and rookies are pictured on cards 216-275. For several of the first-round draft picks, two versions of each card were issued--one of the player in his college uniform and another of the player in his suit on NBA Draft night. Topps is packaged in 36-pack boxes of 12 cards each and carried an initial suggested retail price of $1.99. There were 33 variations for the #33 Larry Bird card (besides the base version) and all were numbered as #33 with no other identifiable features to label them.
