Set Description: This 104 card set was released in February, 2004. The set was issued in five card packs with an $4 SRP. The packs were issued in 24 pack boxes which came 14 boxes to a case. The following subsets were included as part of the set: Summer of 1941 (74-88); Ted Williams Tribute (89-103). Cards numbered 74-103 were issued at stated rate of one in 24. In addition, one of the earliest cards of New York Yankee rookie Hideki Matsui was issued as card number 104. Shortly before the product debuted, an sample card of Mark McGwire was issued to preview what the set would look like.
