Set Description: All the autograph cards in this insert set feature HOFers. After having a mix in 2002 of HOFers and retired players of varying note, Upper Deck decided that this product was better off with only HOFers involved in the cut signature insert set. Please note that several players: Bob Lemon, Charlie Gehringer, Carl Hubbell, Hal Newhouser, Joe DiMaggio and Ray Dandridge had two different varities in the main autograph set. In addition, for the first time, Upper Deck made some "color" variations in the autograph cut insert set. This set includes a "cut" signature of Alexander Cartwright who is believed by most historians to be the true founder of baseball.
