Set Description: This 329-card set was issued in two separate releases. The primary Leaf product - containing cards 1-320 from the basic set - was released in February, 2003. This product was issued in 10-card packs with an SRP of $3 per pack. These packs were issued in 24 pack boxes which came 20 boxes to a case. This set includes the following subsets: Passing the Torch (251 to 270) and a Rookies subset (271-320). Jose Contreras, the cuban refugee signed to a large free-agent contract, had his very first card in this set. Cards 321-329 were issued within packs of DLP Rookies and Traded in December, 2003. There is no card number 42 as both Bobby Higginson and Carlos Pena share card number 41.
