Set Description: Released in late August 2002, Upper Deck MVP boasts a 220-card base set divided up into 190 veteran cards and 30 rookie cards. Base card design consists of full-color player action phototgraphy set against a colored background set to match his team's colors. This colored background fades into a white border. MVP was packaged in 24-pack boxes where each pack contained eight cards and carried a suggested retail price of $1.99.
