Set Description: Upper Deck was issued as a 420-card set divided up into two series. Series one contains 210 cards and was released in November 2002, and Series two contains 220 cards and was released in February 2003. Base cards are borderless with a name box at the bottom and silver foil highlights. The breakdown is as follows: Numbers 1-180 feature veteran players, numbers 181-210 feature rookies, numbers 211-390 feature both veterans and rookies, however, the rookie players in this section have rookie cards in series one so these are not RC cards, and numbers 391-419 again feature rookies. The last card in the set features Michael Jordan. Upper Deck was packaged in 24-pack boxes where packs contained eight cards and carried a suggested retail price of $2.99.
