Set Description: The 1998 Topps Gold Label set was printed on a prismatic 35 pt. Spectra-reflective rainbow stock and are gold foiled-stamped with the player's name and the Gold Label logo. In the foreground of each card is found a photo of a league standout with the background featuring quarterbacks passing and defensive players tackling. The backs carry career statistics and an insightful player commentary. Two parallel background variations for this set were also produced with the quarterbacks running (Class 2) and handing off the ball (Class 3) and defensive players running (Class 2) and pictured set before the snap (Class 3).
