Set Description: This 670-card set is a parallel to the basic Collector's Choice set. One card was inserted into every first and second series pack. Silver cards were also inserted at different rates in other pack forms. Each Silver Foil Signature card is identical in design to its corresponding regular issue card except for the silver borders and silver replica autograph. As with the gold set, the Jeffrey Hammonds card has the signature of Orioles General Manager Roland Hemond. A legitimate variation on the Alex Rodriguez card (#647) was verified several years after release. The standard card features the "A" from Alex on the card back text in grey/silver whereas the variation features his name in white. It's believed that the A-Rod "White A" variation is a significantly tougher card but exact estimates of it's scarcity are not known.
