Set Description: This 140-card set was released in August, 2005. The set was issued in eight-card hobby packs with an $30 SRP which came five packs per box and six boxes per case. The set was also issued in eight-card retail packs with an $30 SRP which came one pack per case. Cards numbered 1-100 feature common retired veterans. Cards numbered 101-125, which were inserted at a stated rate of four in five packs, feature players in college photos and were printed to a stated print run of 1999 serial numbered sets. Cards numbered 126 through 135 feature Negro League greats, were issued at a stated rate of one in seven, and were issued to a stated print run of 999 serial numbered sets. Cards numbered 136-140 feature players during their Little League days and were issued at a stated rate of one in 26. Those cards were issued to a stated print run of 499 serial numbered sets.
